wondering what are the limits of a D1? this D1 was for a LT1 that pushed a blazer to 10.30s. some of you might of seen that same blazer with a F1r on it
im sure i could contact ATI for the brackets but was wondering how well would a D1 work on a 408
the lowest i could drop CR to is 10.1 but motor is fully forged. its a complete lunati 408, with claimed status of 1100hp holding ablity
right now i figure i should be in the neighborhood of low 5xx NA to wheels. what figures if this blower is possible would i see to the wheels. remember my setup would be L92s/L76 backed by a proshifted t56 and 14bolt. not worried about driveline. and i know i would have to get a different cam then the one i have now
i know the blazer with the LT1 355 made around 800 crank before with this D1

thats a lot of compresion. the blower should feed that motor just fine but you better count on race gas for anything over a few psi. that blower is rated at 925hp so i would guess 700-800 rwhp in your truck if you cranked it all the way up.

now wondering if that would be enough to come play with you, unless you step up the game for 07
how much psi you think on street would be safe on pump gas

Im pretty sure it'll get you where you want to be. Buddy of mine who I got my blower from used to work for Procharger. He did a Pretty much stock LS-1 vette with a D1 and made around 580 whp on it. So with a built motor your size I think you'll make the power you are looking for.

amount of boost depends on a lot of things. cam, heads, fuel, timing, intercooler......
go for it and let us know how much you can run but you better roll around with a lap top so you can watch for knock.

that is a lot of CR to be running boost on pump gas. I woudl say stay around 6-7# max with out come race fuel. Also, as you know, make sure that tunning is dead on.
What does your fuel system look like. I know ou have talked about it in other posts, but I am at work and to lazy to look it up
