Ok , I love F.I.
Had been wanting to do a front mount turbo, But am curious about a maggie.
When i last resaerched them the Radix was the current charger, now i see TVS 1900 and 2300, So which one would i want?
Im wandering what kind of power i could make with a Maggie on my LQ4 with my current cam, ( 226-224-114+4 .584/.581 lift) . hopefully around 500 with 10#'s ???
I want to hear whine when im on it. and like the idea of a torque monster in a heavy truck.
Please tell me opinions on what you reccomend . I enjoy reading discussion on F.I.
Thanks!
BTW where is the best place to get one if one wanted a kit?

Joe @ LeftCoast32 seems to be very helpful & he's a sponsor to boot. Or so I thought? I don't see his name, maybe he's on the Tech side. I'll say 1900 is for smaller cubes, but I'm sure some will say just spring for the 2300 anyways.
Wanna say ~$600 difference in cost betw. the 2.
Either way, u cant go wrong. BTW, there are other sponsors too: BlackBear for one.

I don't think that LeftCoast32 is a sponsor any more. Yes Black Bear is a sponsor and sell's the TVS.
The 1900 would be great with the LQ application. The 2300 I have been seeing them go on to like the LSx builds, I don't know how it would work with the LQ.

Tim, with the right combonation of supporting mods a TVS and LQ4 can hit 500hp easy, but it will take work to hit 10's. Blower only I ran 11.81 iirc with my 5.3 and ~11lbs boost and roughly 4900lbs raceweight.
For reliability you are not going to beat the Magnuson.

What size pulley gave your setup 11lb?

Id be stoked to have my truck in the 11's with a blower, that would be more than im asking for!
Just want a fun daily driver that can still act like a truck if needed, but be lots of fun to drive and not back down from most street cars.
You run the Radix trevor? I lkie how they sound.
I dont have to have the latest unit out, just one that will work good for my combo.

Bill had a Radix, now has the TVS1900. His sig says that, but check out his page for greater detail. Radix is not as quiet as TVS. Nor as efficient in terms of...ehh, TVS is just more efficient.
