Default Thinking about turbo or supercharger

I have driven NA and the power is good but I miss the rush that comes from a power adder. My cheapest route back would be nitrous but I want to try something different and more reliable, but most of all be on tap all the time. I currently have 11.0 compression 408 with 235 239 110lsa cam prob close to 500 HP. I would like to have 700rwhp. I know that compression is not ideal but if needed the pistons are 12cc dished and by trading my patriot 64cc ls6 heads for some 72cc heads I will have 10.0 compression. I wanted turbo for the cool sound but after reading about the tvs it may be better for me so that I can keep my current exhuast and sell the FAST intake to pay for larger injectors. I already have dual fuel pumps and truck is just begging for more power. I have $4k pretty liquid and can get $2k in a few months so what should I get?

Either route would be good. Lowering that compression is a must I think. I think you would want a better FI cam though

What are your goals for the truck and what all do you use it for?

The TVS is really nice and Magnacharger is known for their reliability. I would go with the jackshaft 2300 if it was me, and you will definetly have to lower that compression.

Wouldn't you need a tighter LSA and less overlap in the cam? So you might need a custom cam done.

If i were you, sell the heads, buy some 317s with decent springs and valve job... Sell the cam and get something smaller (contact Stoick48 ), get a TVS2300.... All that should pucker your butthole pretty good! Plus you can always up the boost or upgrade the heads later.

If you drive the truck around much I'd look into a TVS2300 and spray a 150 shot on it. If you set the blower up for around 12psi where it seems to be at it's best you should be able to pull off 600-650RWHP and spray a 150 shot at it to get to 800RWHP. All of that with off idle boost allowing you to run a 2800-3200 stall and still launch like an animal. 10.5:1-11:1 compression is where you'll want to run the compression for best power. It may be a good time to go to L92 heads. If most of your use for the truck is playing and racing I'd no doubt go with a turbo and a big one at that. Something around 88mm or bigger. That would get you into the 10's and probably even on pump gas.
