Thinking about FI
#1
I am thinking about adding FI to my truck. I need a kit that builds alot of power but can be added to later for more performance. How much fab work is there to be done with the STS kit? I have always liked turbo vehicles, I used to have an Audi S4, but I am wondering how long my trans and rear end will last with the kit. I will be driving my truck everyday, hunting out of it, and towing my 22 ft ski boat. I am assuming that I need a stall converter, which I was going to do regardless of whether I get FI. If I go with a 2600 yank, can i still use that one if i get an STS or radix?? How "turn key" is the STS kit? Does it come with everything that I need? How much power can I expect from the basic kit? Thaks alot.

the STS kit is pretty easy to install but does take a little time to do it right.Youll need some larger fuel inj. and either a boost a pump or a larger fuel pump, look at my sig, i run a 2800 stall and truck runs/drives great.drivabilty is great, you dont know its there at normal cruising till ya punch it.youll also need a tune of course.
