Default TAPPED out turbo and nitrous...?

So I have a turbo thats probably operating at the upper range of what its capable of. I imagine the turbo drive pressure is approaching a 3:1 ratio to boost.

Will adding a 100 shot on top of this make more power or will it just make more drive pressure?

Occurs to me that if it's the turbine side that's maxed, it may not gain much but if the compressor side then this would effectively add more oxygen which would act in some ways like adding boost.

Usually the major gain I hear about is the cooling aspect on forced induction setups. Compressing air makes a crapton of heat, so cooling it is beneficial.

In my Cobra days it seemed like when guys were maxing the factory Eaton blower, they could hit it with what would typically be a 25-50 shot and net 75-100 horsepower because of cooler IATs.

Seems like it could help you out just from IAT perspective.

Combo is a 76/65 on a 6.0, ls1 intake, ls9 Cam in a 77 k10. Combo is putting down 500 tire according to the online calculators.

Nitrous on top of a tapped out turbo is a recipe for a blown up turbo.

If this was N/A, I would say you could pick 10-20HP swapping that LS1 intake for a truck intake(as long as you meant to say it is a true LS1 car unit) but I'm a little out of my wheelhouse when it comes to performance of same intakes with F/I.

What boost pressure? Lets pull up a compressor map and see if you are really out of it's range. Or put a exhaust pressure gauge on it to see the drive pressure. I made one for my compound cummins for really cheap.

Yeah, you're pretty much out of turbine with that small turbine wheel on a 6.0. You need to upgrade to something like a 7675 and it would be much happier.
