10.8's ALL night long! 72mm tapped out?!
So I went for big tonight. I was having issues with turbo only making 15psi so I added another small spring inside my other spring in my wastegate. Well, this seems to get to about 19psi and it drops to about 17-16 above 6k. Not sure what the hell is going on. I'm going to talk will Rob tomorrow at modular turbo as I want a 800HP turbo as it's advertised and I need a stable 20+psi for that to happen.
That said, i'm happy with the power at this boost. The 76GTS went 10.92 at 18psi so this seems to be dead on. It's actually a NPB off nitrous and NPB in the 1/8th even over a nitrous pass that went 10.74 1/4 on the 76. The second and 3rd run I locked 3rd gear, thats why the MPH was better but each pass was all about the 60's as the HP stayed the same. I tried turning the boost controller up each pass, but boost didn't raise. Could have added timing, but thats not my thing. I'm a big boost fan. Airfuels were a healthy 11.0-11.4 all night.
Anyways here's 10.8's. Tried launching at 3500,3400,3300. Also got air pressure in the slicks down to 12.5psi cold. Still spinning tires though, not sure what else to try.
