Default t76 update

Went out with Cablebandit for about 20 minutes of tuning. Sticking with low boost (8 psi) for a while. Afr is 11.8-1, timing is only 10 degrees. Maxed out the maf sensor at 4800 rpm. Pulls close to the t67 at 12 psi when the tires are not spinning. This is with heavier 18 inch wheels. It spools nearly identical to the 67 thanks to the ball bearings, ceramic coated exhaust manifolds and y-pipe, and moving the turbo about 18 inches closer to the front of the truck. When it starts to spool it does'nt seem to hit as hard though. That may change when the boost is bumped up and the turbo gets into its sweet spot.

Sounds like you are only tipping into what the 76 has to offer. Do you have a stock internal LS1? How much boost are you planning? How easily does it spin the tires?

Forged ls1. Plan on 13-14 at the track this fall. The tires break loose around 18 mph from a stop which is how it did with the smaller turbo. Brake stalling always makes for a smoke show.
May do a short video in the future. Not a big fan of dynos. Trap and et are a better indicator of rwhp. May try a dyno pull just to see what the tq curve looks like.

Dave you forget its 85+ degrees out right now AND you have the meth turned off Once you get that 76 turned up, its gonna be a monster. We will have to do a vid soon..i need a street vid as well anyways.
looking at your file...the coolant temp vs spark table is pulling a lot of timing before you are ever really rolling hard. At 3200 rpms, you only had 6.5 deg of timing when we were messing around....we get all that right and it will hit much harder.
