Your truck will run without the blower turning...I have broken 3 tensioners on mine and it will still run, however I did not try and get on it with the SC not turning. On the Mad Max thing that was a movie thing, but it was badass...I think I've seen that movie over 40 times.

Wow, you would think with the tight tolerances on the screws that it would not let enough air pass to run. And yes, love that movie

If you wanted to save some wear on the blower you might be able to make an interchangeable pulley so you could turn it much slower on a long trip. That might be a compromise between a bypass or the regular pulley. That is a good movie by the way.

yea, i could just throw a crank pulley on there...LOL.
