Default Supercharger upgrade

I just purchased the new 3.3 liter Whipple with the intension of building an adaptor to mount it on my Radix intake.I'm looking for input to figure out the best way to do the conversion, the supercharger should arrive in about 3weeks.So any input would be greatly appreciated.I'm kind of curious to see if my 200cid blower can make as much power as Blownchevy's twin112cid Radix setup.

This is great news and very exciting.....finally going to see what that 402 is capable of.

Have you contacted the guys at Starr? They might have a few tips. There is also a guy in Indiana or Ohio who is selling the Starr units, though I can't remember his URL right now.

I'm thinking that the Whipple is only about a 1/2" taller that I might have room to add the bigger heat exchanger from a Lightning to my Radix lower intake and still have enough hood clearance.Besides the Radix lower intake looks like it would give better fuel distribution than the manifold in the picture, the Radix has equal length runners cast into it.

Bought a Starrperformance intake with heatexchanger,pre-blower intake tube and bypass valve.Peter Starr is good guy he suggested some additional parts as well.I'm planning to go with a ASP underdrive pulley to slow down my blower drive ratio and using my Radix pulley arrangement with a 6 rib pulley.

Cool

That setup should be a beast.

Sounds like you have most of the stumbling blocks taken care of.

Looking forward to your results. Good luck.

what happened to the Radix manifold you thought would work better? Kinda surprised you went with Starr as you didn't seem all that enthusiastic about it earlier. In any case, best of luck to ya! Sounds like an exciting project
