I had no complaints, but really don't want anything more radical than what it was. It was a little soft on the bottom end compared to the Lunati I had in there before the S/C, but it was very nice for low RPM light throttle situations. And was definitely stronger than the Lunati at upper RPM range.

They sure do! I hope they work as good as they look! -- thanks for the pix.

I don't know anything about head porting, but what is this?

Educated guess is a void/low spot in the factory head casting. TSP hand blends the bowls. Rather than dig in deep to make that one area perfectly smooth, they focused on keeping them even. That one was the worst.

5.3 + CNC heads should be just fine.....What was the actual POWER number you are trying to maintain? And if the bottom end was soft in your opinion with that cam in a 6.0L it will be even worse in a 5.3L. It does not take much cam to make a whole lot of power with forced induction...

The low end was not problematic with the Tick blower cam, it just didn't have as much low end as the Lunati high-lift cam I started out with prior to the S/C. I'm talking about off-idle to 2000 RPM.

Honestly, I have no idea what it made power wise.

On a stock LS2, the e-force is advertised at 599 HP at the flywheel. I had a cam and headers upgrade, so I'd like to think it was closer to 650 at the flywheel. It made enough to slow-walk a Nissan GTR on the highway.

I'm probably going to reach out to some of the cam gurus and see what they'd recommend. I don't want/need something radical at the low-speed/lowRPM driving conditions.

1st step is deciding what you wanna do for heads, then spec a cam once that’s decided. Personally your old cam needed more boost to take advantage of the valve events. You want to optimize cyl pressure if your shooting for something that’s responsive down low. ESP if moving to a 5.3

I have the LS2 heads I plan on sending to TSP for the PRC porting. Unless there's a better option at the $750-$1000 price point.

You might look into Katech. They CNC port factory heads for $500 and I believe they are closer to you so shipping should be a lot cheaper.

Is 10-12 PSI a realistic level for a daily driver that sees 10,000 miles a year? I'm really not all that hard on it. Just want the power when I ask for it
