Default Supercharger kits and E85

Probably a dumb question, but are the popular supercharger kits compatible with E85 fuel?

Yes. The supercharger is before the fuel so you could run it on koolaide and the supercharger wouldn't care

So would running E85 negate the need for a meth kit?

Ya pretty much, you just have to make sure that your fuel system is capable of supporting the fuel that you will need with E-85.

You wont need a Meth kit other than for "engine detonation prevention".

e85 allows you to run more timing just like meth does.

Like others have said, make sure your fuel system will support e85 and go for it. My buddy's cobra made around 60 extra hp after switching to e85 @21psi. Also, it might be a good idea to invest in the handheld efi live programer in case you get caught in an area without a e85 station.

Thanks for the replies.

I do have an AutoCal from BBP.

Since I have a flex-fuel truck, I should be GTG, right?

The flex fuel will adjust the stoich value on its own between pump gas and e85. But like stated above u will need big injectors and big fuel pump or multiple pumps.
