No it's about a year and half old. It's a Bosch. It turns on and pushes water just won't push it through this system now.

My pump, same as yours, is mounted directly below the reservoir with the electrical connection coming out the bottom. Try flipping the pump over.

I've read this pump is good at pushing water, but not pulling it. Meaning it needs a constant supply of water from the reservoir. I am guessing your pump is trying to pull water and isn't able to very well the way the hoses are configured. With that pump, the water comes in from the top center and out the side. The feed side is flowing uphill.

You have the pump setup to pull, it has to push.

Yeah, that is a centrifugal pump. It will not suck at all if it gets air in it and will not self prime. It needs to be at the lowest part of your cooling system so there is always water setting in it. If it gets any air in it, it will loose prime. That's why they put them under the coolant tanks.

The pump doesn't have to be the lowest but you want it below the resevoir and as close to it as possible so it can then push the remainder of the system.

If the plumbing is the same it still isn't right.
