Amen...First the tranny. Then the motor drops a valve Not because of too much hp/torque, but due to crappy valve springs....Comp Cams 918's. Course, that gave me the "opportunity" to upgrade to a 6.0L.

BTW...5.3 with equipment in my sig made 420rwhp and 440 torque. Hope the 6.0L with a few upgrades will be over 500.

I think there are more radix equipped trucks than paxton,vortec,whipple,and kb combined soley based on few truck sites i attend.Shows there is strenght in numbers,numbers dont lie,Just my opinion.

As for the install,very informative instructions with pictures,and with a small compliment of tools,can be done in a driveway,with moderate mechanical skills.
Have had mine for two years now and have not had any issues.5.3 radixed 03 suburban.......
