Best for what?
Best complete kit?
Best low end torque?
Best top end hp?
Best looking.....??
There are three basic types. Roots style, twin-screw, and centrifical. All offer something the other doesn't. Most folks here will agree the Radix is the most complete kit and gives the low end torque our heavy trucks need.

I'm thinking the complete kit. I've been reading different post, and a lot of people seem to like the radix.

Yup. Comes with everything you need right down to drop in airfilter (for stock box)!

I really like my Kenne Bell, however I also fabbed up a air to air intercooler and it may be a bit loud for some people.... The intercooler magnified the sound.
In the cab it makes the radix sound quiet.

Out of the box you cannot beat a radix, it comes with everything needed.

I like my Whipple alot, but it was not a totally "out of the box" setup though. I had them delete the electronics and injectors from the kit and i went with some 43lb injectors and a dyno tune to complete the setup. If you know what you need and buy it ahead of time, its pretty much a done deal. I also threw a Dmax intercooler on my truck after noticing some performance lag from the higher temps. I did not however notice my blower sounding any "louder" than it did before like 03sierra did....not sure why. Bottom line is i would have probably gone with the radix simply because of all the great feedback i have heard about them, but they didn't make a kit for my big block so i went with the whipple. I am very happy with it and it does take my 7000lb truck all the way to 14.1 in the quarter mile......and that was before the intercooler....cant wait to get some times now.

Whippled- I dont know why mine got louder and your didnt? Jamesbond2509 also has a Air to Air on his KB and his got louder as well. Whipples dont seem as loud as the KB's my buddy has one and it is fairly quiet, although they are very similar in design...
