Default Supercharged 03 Escalade

New to the forum and looking for some step by step work with my truck. Lq9 AWD with a magnason supercharger. I bought this truck a few years ago and have been dancing around with an engine build and finally said screw it. Lets build. I'm not so familiar with these builds though. Any tips/thoughts. Its gonna be a street build. Looking to put down between 500-700hp.

500 can be done on the stock bottom end all day long.

Do you know which maggie you have? I'm willing to bet its a 112, or if it was installed more recently then its a TVS1900.

I'd start with a cam, headers, and a pulley change to make more power. That may satisfy your need. If you get into building a motor the chances are you will overshoot your blower and you'll need a bigger one.

Mp112 is whats on it. When you say outgrow at what point do you suspect it will lose effectiveness. Ive been reading about some of the 6.0 builds on hear and it looks like theres loads of options for components. Im hoping to get a little trial and error experience as to what has been most stable and successful. Worst case scenario is i outgrow it and sell it.

Ok so looking through some of these it looks like top end of what I'm going to get out of the 112 is around 500hp. So I'll start with that and work into a build. Any suggestions on a cam that will work well with the maggie.

You have some options w cam choice: Vinci Trucker, Comp 212/218 or a gt2-3 cam would work. I'd go with the Vinci as it's a larger motor.

On a lq9 the maggie 112 is your restriction. That said you can improve with a cam, gears and a good tune.

Forgot to mention, custom cams are available and may be a better choice depending on what you want to achieve.

Is there anyone that you recommend for the custom cam. I'm seeing so many different cam choices that everyone is using on these builds. I want broad spectrum power increase, no highest gains but only in a small spectrum.

For the pulley I'm assuming we are talking the pulley for the maggie. If so what is a safe level of boost that I can run through the stock bottom end.

Here is what I am at so far to order.
L92 Heads
Lift springs
Arp bolts
Hardened comp push rods
90mm throttle body-FAST

thinking ill need offset intake rockers

You cant run L92 heads with the 112. You need cathedral port heads.

+1 L92 heads don't work as stated

Pat G is often mentioned for custom cams, but I've never ordered from him. As for safe psi, it's all in the tune but I'm sure most people will agree that you should be safe at around 10 psi

Ok see this is why I am on a forum. I must have gotten bad info. So what cathedral ported heads have people used with good results?

It looks like LS2's are an option,

I'm not gonna lie though there are way to many conflicting threads for me to comb through. Hoping someone just has a straight answer.

Thanks for the info on PatG. I will try to figure out how to get in touch with him about a cam.

I have been combing through threads all day. Just getting a headache trying to figure out the set up to go with
