well im going to go with it for now but i might use it on the car if i dont like it. i might look in to a nice sheetmetal wilson or beck. i can get and old one from a friend of mine but that wilson is a 3000 intake.lol. but i have done some stupid things lol

I think you had part right/part wrong.

Short runners are better for high RPM but tend to have lower intake velocity which is why they don't work well at low RPM. Short runners don't maintain good port signal and the air tends to "stop".

Long runners maintain port velocity and increase low end.

theres not a whole lot of room for a vic jr under the hood.. the super vic im sure will still work but will be gettin close to the hood
