Default Stupid belt issue

So my truck loves to throw bolt the serp and AC belt when I have the truck on the high boost setting.
my high boost is 24lbs
low boost is 15lbs
so I don’t really have the issue on low boost
but on high boost it will throw the belts
I have a brand new AC delco tensioner for both belts and brand new belts for both!
the SERP belt is actually the size for the 105 amp alt so it’s a tight fit
and it still gets thrown off
does any ones else have an issue with throwing belts with a turbo set up?

Are your pulleys perfectly aligned? This and crank pinning is what causes it.

The AC belt you can convert to a 2008 belt that doesn’t use the tensioner.

Is your crank pinned? That WILL cause it also.

crank is Not pinned! Didn’t think I would have to do that since it’s a turbo truck and not blower

Not to highjack this thread, but can you explain how the crank pinning causes this? I only ask because I am having a similar issue. I have a 6.0L with a whipple, with a pinned crank, and I am having trouble with the belt. Every time I go WOT it tosses the belt. It starting to drive me mad. I have tried a couple different belts to no avail. I could really use a solution.

You need to make sure your pullies are aligned properly

I have this issue intermittent on my setup as well when going full tilt. All pulleys aligned. Crank is pinned.

Tried various belts, new tensioner, etc. Haven't found solution, so I took AC belt off this week because it's getting cooler out.

Another member said he had an extra groove machines closer to his main belt and it hasn't hopped since. I have IW OD crank pulley so not interested in that.
