I think this all boils down to; we all want to think we own the best crap (system, set-up, what ever).
The Radix bandwagon is no longer a wagon but a thirteen mile long train, WHY? Because they are complete, and they work.... very well. I know, I've rode, drove, and tuned them. I've also seen Trever1t's, Mark's, jay's and many others monsters in action.
The sts (or any rear mount) on the other hand is going to be the under dog. Because no matter how fast (or how large the dyno number) you go with a rear mount, there is always, always going to be some-one who says, "He could have went faster if it wasn't a rear mount"
If my wife’s truck had a better trans, I'd like to have a Radix on it. Don't get me wrong; I would never give up my turbo for a blower. But that’s me, and I feel the STS or any rear mount fits the theme of having a fast truck.
"We are trying to make a big heavy brick fast, let's put the turbo in the back........."
Nice job taking down a radix truck, slowec I know it feels good. But trust me there are faster Radix trucks out there............................................. .......
.....Not that I have found one yet........he, he.......

I hear ya, and thanks for your comments. Its a small town Georgia thing. There is only two fast trucks in this town and we ran. I won. I love my STS, but if I had more money...I'd be a radix owner. I get beat on alot about my kit so I like to defend my position. I think my 6.0 reg cab combo with a small turbo works well together. I just want people to know what combos work well together. I think Blownchevy's truck was heavy, lacked torque, and was not properly matched with an appropriate torque converter. If you think turbos have to be laggy, ask me for a ride...I can torch the tires anywhere in first gear!
Anyhow, Thanks for making this the longest rambling that I have started since I joined this site!

Yeah, since I changed my gears and sized my converter properly my little 5.3 4X4 with sts is like RIGHT NOW, IN YOUR FACE whenever you nail it....NO LAG..ANY GEAR. It is ALL about the combo regardless of choice. Hey, the thread is just good fun controversy...it's all good.
