I would go the Ebay FMIC route, you can get em cheap then some mandrel 90s and some silicone couplers would run you 150ish and have a much more effective system.

 

I agree completely but I want a real sleeper look on the truck. With the Meth I do not have any heat problems when I get on it, but going up a hill on the highway will take the boost to 2-3PSI and add a little heat to the IAT. A small innercooler for this would be perfect. I also like the idea of tucking it under the truck so it cannot be seen. The 18inch pipe under the door looked like a good spot for an innercooler with good air flow to help with low boost cooling before the Meth is going to start injecting.

I should still be able to do a full innercooler later when I want to run more boost or keep the IAT cooler.

I have checked ebay but cannot find an innercooler that will fit under the door, but I do like the pricing for what I have found so far. I figure if someone already has a source that would make life SO much easier.

Paint the IC black no one will see it behind the grille if thats what you are worried about. Not to mention all someone has to do is look at your exhaust and your "sleeper" cover is blown. To each their own I guess.

Not sure how the kit sounds with a muffler, but i know there is no way it would ever be a sleeper with the amount of sound the turbo puts out without one anyway, might as well do the FMIC.
