well thats not good.... you should have fallowed him and talked to him!!

Those turbo kits seem to have gone up. Or they cost a lot more for trucks, Brad has one on his camaro and it was like $3500 now they are like $4400...then you ad the intercooler for a grand and that is real close to the whipple blower.

Oh Tie rod, we need a sound clip of the big 496 with heads and cam...

Just an FYI, but you can really dicker with the guys at Whipple over prices. My kit was $4650....then after going back and fourth with Chris at Whipple for a few weeks, we finally agreed on $3500 as a selling price. Not bad for a brand spankin new blower. Then i paid a few hundred for injectors and a dyno tune.

whippled 496, Was there a reason you didnt do the one with the aftercooler?

I noticed it says now you have a Dmax intercooler.. did it help with the blower?

Well initially, they wanted $2000 more for the intercooler. That was more than I wanted to spend so i decided to get the parts together to put a Dmax intercooler on and save a few $$. It took me over a month to do the whole intercooler project (there is a few threads floating in the F/I section on my progress). In the end, yes it definately helped, it took my temps way down and the truck runs now (summertime) just as well as it did in the fall and winter. Cant wait till fall and winter this year to see it really get peppy.
