Don't forget to make a section flexable, the exhaust/turbo needs to move independently (sp) from the frame/bed......

yeah i had to use the maf cause i already had a filter but it wouldnt fit 3in. i descreened the maf i figure it will flow enough. the maf was one i had layin around

So you are just using as a coupler?

I bet your'e IAT's are going to be noticeably higher. The turbo is going to have to work harder to pull air through all those bends.

My Front mount Turbo LOVES the custom Snorkel I built for it... My IAT's are 15-25 degrees lower and they stay that way, heat soak is virtualy eliminated. The Silver intake piping is DIY Ceramic coating and since they sit behind the electric fans they are constantly cooled, and also there no hot air being pulled through the pipes from the engine bay...


But, not sure this can be compared to the rear mount style snorkel. If I had a rear mount I would run a pipe up the back of the cab to the roof with a scoop on it or something like that...
