Default STS meth wiring ??

Is the green wire coming out of the loom in the right location?? It is on NC2.
Or should it go to NO3?

Cool

The green wire from the loom is attached to the N03 connection on the pressure sensor in my STS Meth kit.

Cool

Welcome.

PS. Did you check out the reply from Klaus to my question about the best place to mount the O2 sensor bung on the Innovate Forum? I guess behind the turbo is the preferred location and at WOT the readings should not be off by too much. Good for WOT tuning at least and probably OK for general tuning once you get the feel for it.

Yes I read it. I still don't think they have done any testing on the STS. I am installing my STS this weekend. I will test all three location when I get the dyno tune.

I am going to be making a new thread on an AF question. I will ask you first.
I have my XD-1 wide band hooked up now. When I am cruising 55 or 60 mph and let off the gas my AF goes up from 14.6, 14.9 to 15, 18, 32 for 1/2 second ,then 20 (flashing) and the percent light comes on. 20 is the limit on the gauge just for now. When the truck gets down to 45 you feel a hesitation which I think is the converter unlocking and the AF go back to 14.6 , 14.9. I think it is do to the converter putting a negative load on the motor when it is locked.
Any thoughts?

One more thing. Is it you who has a threaded IAT that you re wired from the MAF. I just remember someone had a threaded one and the other one is a push in style. But can't seem to find the thread I read it in.

Thanks again

Replied to your PM

Not sure about your wideband AF readings but I think that the PCM may shut off the injectors when you close the throttle under high vacuum during deceleration. When the converter unlocks the vacuum in the engine will decrease and the PCM will turn the injectors back on to keep the engine running. This is just a theory and I don't know for sure.
