Default STS intake help.

Well guys im in a dilemma, I live in Williston North Dakota and the summers are hot and rainy, and the winters are cold and very snowy atleast 4-6 ft at most times...and as you guys know the the filter is under the truck. Well the sent me the intake relocator kit and the turbo was producing to much suction, and would suck it closed, but anyways what im trying to get at, i had it relocated to my box of my truck routed from the turbo, inbetween my frame and into my box.. well i need something air tight, flexible, and obviously 3 inches to fit my turbo and filter just wondering if any of you have suggestions or if you guys have done any other way to relocate your filter. Because i know it rains down there and i dont know if you guys like sucking up water or what. The snow started flyin today so i need help! thanks guys!

The picture here is an old filter not used ( i no its dirty as hell) but i just did this to kinda show you how i plan on doing this.

I would build a box around the turbo with some filtered vents on top, same stuff they use for commercial A/C units instead of going through the bed but looks like you already did.

Here is a couple of picks of mine.

It is a little different now. I have a 90* silicone elbow and a piece of straight aluminum pipe through the bed. it is also 4" with the MPT76.

Inlet on my turbo is 4". I bought a 4" 90 degree silicone elbow and found a 4" piece of exahust pipe and ran that through my bed and into a mini plastic truck box with 3" holes drilled it with some wire mesh protecting the holes to keep the birdies out. run that during the winter with no prob. FYI: trying to drill a 4" hole into my bed with a holesaw was a task.
