Default STS Filter Sock

Now that the weather is finally breaking, would it be smart to put on a new filter sock, or should I just keep the old one? Keep in mind daily driver.

Has anyone noticed a difference between a year old sock vs a brand new one?

thanks

They loose there water resistance over time. Take it off, wash it and spray it with some new water proofing stuff (I use scotch guard). Save it till the weather get shitty again
