I have my filter relocated up over my rear axle. It's the cleanest spot under my truck. I don't have a space issue. I mount the filter horizontally and use straps to keep it in place and from putting stress on the "neck".

I was looking at this filter. Anybody run this? It is 14" and has a 3" neck

I remember seeing someone with a similar filter, can't remember if it was a turbo or Radix though.
I'll be running a 3" and a 4" dual filters soon.
The one from the STS kit and a 4" I bought. Gotta get my lazy *** to finsh up all the loose ends soon.

get the K+N rc 4730 i believe, it has the X-STREAM front on it and really performs awesome on my truck, spools quicker than the filter that came with the kit.

 

I don't get a hit on that p/n. I think you gave me that in a pm not too long ago and I didn't find it then either. Will you double check that? I'd love to get the X-Stream if it's the same 14"
