When you get back to GA give me a shout, I would like to see it in person if you don't mind. I live about 15 minutes from Dalton, in Ringgold.

Well, got it dyno'ed yesterday and definitely ran into some issues, but before I explain, here are the numbers- 432/497 to the wheels at 8psi. [EDIT] I've tried posting the dyno sheet, but it's too large, and I have no way to reduce the size. If someone wouldn't mind posting it for me I'd appreciate it!

The Nelson's tune was extremely rich, and he had also retarded the timing a few degrees to be on the safe side. Because of this, we turned down the MSD Boost-a-pump to the minimum setting and disconnected the Meth injection- we were still way rich!
Also, the tune was done on a Dynojet with no loading for the turbo- it took the dyno guys some time to figure out the trick to dyno'ing the truck without it downshifting.
So, with a new tune and the meth injection, I think I should see some significant improvement. The LQ9 seems to really take well to forced induction. Overall, I'm very impressed with the kit. It's much more fun and interesting to drive than it was before, and everyone who has ridden in the truck has had a smile on their face- including my girlfriend! I think there is still some more to be had from the setup and am anxious to get a better tune. Might offer Allen Nelson a plane ticket to San Diego sometime soon!

As a side note- the STS oil pump is VERY loud and obnoxious. Apparently they are all this way, which I'm very suprised about. It sounds like electrical arching (not healthy sounding at all!). Is there an alternative to this pump that is more quiet?

Even with tuning left in it, I bet 500ft lbs pulls good. Nice numbers. Is your oil return pump mounted on rubber isolators? Those might make it quieter if it doesn't already use them.
I have used Microsoft paint to resize pictures before, I am really interested in seeing that graph!

Good numbers... my oil pump is the same... especially when it's cold outside..Do you think a guy could wrap it with say header wrap, or would that be a bad idea???

Yes, get a front mount.. J/K LOL! You Will get used to the pump, dont worry, it will break in and quiet down a little. I actually liked hearing mine for piece of mind, knowing it was pumping. Be sure to carry spare relays in your glove box too. I learned the hard way. GREAT #"s BTW!!!!! Allen likes to send " rich" mail order tunes first to be safe which is cool. Get him Data logs with HP tuners and he can email you changes to get your truck dialed in-GOOD LUCK-Tim

I don't know what it's mounted on- I'll check that...thanks! My father owns a company that sells specialized oil pumps. I'm checking on what alternatives might be available. If I come up with a better solution, I'll let everyone know.

Wilde- thanks for posting the dyno sheet for me!

Really appreciate the comments- I'm very happy with the turn out, but will take TIM Z's advice and have Allen send an email tune. I see how this stuff is so addictive!
