If you are on a load bearing dyno I think it is going to be close to what it doses on the street, but I'm no expert.

That is some bullshit. I went 11.80 @118.93 mph with a 1.9 60' with my STS powered 4.8 liter. It made 530rwhp and 560rwt running out of fuel at 5100rpms. Thats no dyno queen to me.

I wish I could get all the goofs I've waxed since installing my STS to post up here but most of them won't admit a truck beat them.
I have not run mine at the track but it has the base kit and is no dyno queen, in fact its never seen a dyno or had a custom tune done. My Nelson tune in its sixth revision because of mods and runs great, so well that my neighbor with an "04" Vette is starting to buy mods because he's afraid I will be able to keep up with him soon. I doubt it but it scares him when I take him for rides.
Find someone with an STS and go for a ride is my advise. The base kit will only give you so much but a few other mods will make some faster cars take notice for sure.

Thing is i have to custom make mine- I think i will use a 60-1 turbo or a Grand national turbocharger w/ greddy or hks components- What do you guys recommend for fuel managment- I would be using a custom MPFI intake manifold w/ 42lbs injectos and FPR and a custom tune hopefully from nelson if they do 4.3L tunes-

Is there anyproblem with mounting the turbo to the end of the y-pipe or or welding a turbo adapter onto a stock manifold and mounting the turbo there?-

What do you guys recommend for components- (this is what im thinking)-
(this is on a 4.3L- SHITTY FUEL SYSTEM!!!!)
Fuel-
Custom MPFI w/ 42lbs injectors/ Adjustable FPR/ Walbro intake fuel pump w/ MSD inline

Turbo-
GNX turbo or a 60-1 turbo

Intercooler-
OBX 3-core intercooler

Turbo accesories-
Greddy 40mm Wastegate
Turbo smart Street BOV
Turbo smart M.B.C

Tuning-
Does nelson do tuning for 4.3L and could they do it for a turbocharged one?

Yes, I just finished a 4.3 in a Blazer. Gained 82hp and 73ftlbs. Truck is bone stock and that was only 4.5 psi.

The truck is alot of fun now. A 20 punch breaks the tires (we installed limited slip) loose. The sound is great; not loud, no drone, airlplane always riding along with you.
