Well this last weekend, I was driving back to my hometown, and while I was on a VERY lonely stretch of road, I thought I'd make up a bit of lost time.. I ran the old clunker of a truck up over one hundred for a few miles. When I got to my destination I found the rear corner of the bumper turned to a rainbow color, I know my truck isn't gay. It does worry me some, the bumper had to get fairly hot to change colors. lol


The picture doesn't show the color very well, I'll take a few more.

The best part of the whole trip was I hit a deer folded the front fender and hood


O-well, At least the 5.3 liter got 18.2 - 19.5 mpg avg the whole weekend....

Good thing you didn't hit it going 115, I think the discolored tailpipe would have gone unnoticed!

that is pretty f'd up about the bumper..... and that sucks about the front end.
