The 45 I used is fairly thick and I have the pipe shoved up in it as much as I could. I also beed rolled all the pipe to help keep them from blowing off.
As soon as I go WOT at any speed, my vacuum gauge automatically goes to 0, then boost starts. I can never make it show less than 0 at WOT. I have been running the same silicone adapters on my truck for two years now and they still function fine.

Mine used to get sucked in really bad until boost hit...was pretty funny to watch.
