Default Some opinions on turbo size needed

I have been seriously contemplating on building a rearmount turbo setup for my truck. The question i have is what would be a good all around turbo for my setup. My setup is in my sig. I want to run around 10 lbs of boost around town and possibly up boost at track but most of all i want a good all around good running setup.

T76, good amount of power, not as much lag, you can get em cheap.

Most of all will be tuning though!

Yep, I'm running a T76 with close to the same set up as you and it's great! You'll need bigger injectors and fuel pump for sure. I'm running out of fuel on the higher boost setting (14#) since the single Walbro isn't keeping up. You can get a new MasterPower T76 for around $750 new.

Yep, a MP T76 would fit the bill nicely, let me know if I can help you.

If you are only looking to only run 10psi I would go with a MP70. I have had a MP70 and a TC76 on my rearmount and the mp70 is a better street turbo for a rear mount. The tc76 is awesome for power but it can be a little laggy. If you plan on turning up the boost later go with the 76.

I think you will be happy with the mp70 on a rear mount. The 76 is sweet for top end but it is laggy as hell. You should be able to run some good times if you turn it up to 15psi.

This depends mostly on trim and A/R. I've run a T76 with a .96 and .68 and the .96 definitely was pretty laggy. With the .68, it's almost instant boost and great for the street. I also have the P trim which also helps reduce lag.
