I just bought a powdercoating kit and bought some high temp stuff just for this. It actually has a lot of texture to it but I sanded the inlet smooth.

Looks good! Did you use power on the turbine housing too? I bought some "turbo x" tech line coating stuff I was gonna try for hot parts.

Yeah, I went through all the trouble of the VHT process and realized it's the same amount of effort for real coatings. I've already tried out a small amount of techline basic ceramic coating and now I've got a bunch of stuff that needs coating.

Reed paints the turbine housing with hi temp paint, so I didnt bother to coat that. Only the second thing ive ever powdercoated, the first being about an hour before
