The color is vulcan black, its rated for 1050F continuous...spray on, put it oven at 400 for 20 minutes and thats it! Sanded the inlet with 300 grit so its smooth.

Side note, it was my first time powdercoating anything and I shocked the **** out of myself with the gun

Hell no, it was on the ground and apparently concrete is conductive enough for me to get shocked even through rubber sandals. I think most systems are 15kv-25kv. Sure as **** caught me off guard. Arced to my finger but my toes were tingling for a few minutes haha.

I bought the kit from harbor freight for $50 and some powder from rosie's powder coating for like $8 a pound.

That looks awesome. Nothing like a little electricity to wake you up in the morning hahahaha. I've seen those kits at arbor freight, wasn't sure if they would work well or not. I may have to grab one now.

Yea they work fine, biggest thing is make sure you use good powder.
