skinnies called me earlier and said it ran pretty good. I'd like to come see this thing before it leaves town. I might be interested in buying some parts that you're removing from one of your other projects too.

All I Have To Say Is Wicked!!

Got A Queshion, What Trans Did Your Truck Have It In It Originaly, A 4l6xl Or A 4l8xl. I Am Looking To Put A 4l80e In My Truck But I Dont Know How That Will Effect The Transfer Case Or Everything Down The Line?

I Have A 05 Serria Denali Awd With A 4l65e And Am Currently Building A Turbo Kit Now With A Pt70gts At The Heart And I Know I Am Going To Push Really Hard And Break Something So Im Am Prepairing.

I originally had a 4L60E in it. So far the Transfer case is holding up just fine. Not sure if anyone else has had issues, but I sure hope it will hold up.

Are you building the motor too , or just putting the turbo on?

I AM JUST BUILDING THE TURBO SYSTEM NOW WITH PLANS ON A BUILT 6.0L BUT I JUST WANT TO GET ALL THE ODDS AND ENDS FINISHED BEFORE THE MOTOR IS BUILT. I REALLY WANT TO BUILD A REALLY STRONG DRIVETRAIN TO HOLD UP TO ANYTHING SO I NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT.

WHAT WAS NEEDED TO PUT THE 4L80E IN YOUR TRUCK??

DO YOU HAVE A COMPLETE LIST OF PARTS??

NOW YOU MAKE ME REGRET PUTTING 22" WHEELS ON MY TRUCK, WOULD HAVE LOOKED MUCH BETTER WITH THE 24"

Thanks for the compliments.

Well as far as dyno numbers are concerned I dont really have any. I dont know if anyone else has had this problem but it seems that the factory computer will only "allow" 600ft/lbs of torque, which mine hits at 4800rpm.

So what does that mean? hmmm, didnt take too much thought, maybe a few minutes and yup u guessed it, stand alone system is getting ordered. Goin with the Big Stuff 3.

Also bigger injectors, and a meth kit.

Right now its at 16.5lbs of boost

so anyway here are the results for the night....
Pulled REAL hard but at the top end something happened but gonna try to figure that out today......

does anyone have any idea as to why my truck would lose 4 MPH. It felt like once it shifted into third it just became a total turd. lol.

seriously though there was no more acceleration. It very noticeably dropped off to nothing.

its at the shop now getting diagnosed but i was just wondering if u guys have experienced this before.

upcoming mods- next week

damn! That's much slower than I was expecting. I went that quick with a cam only 5.3 and whipple at 10 psi, with 42lb injectors; and it was falling on its face up top too. My problem was a combination of a lack of fuel and not enough timing.

I'm sure Erik will get you fixed up. Good luck.
