The oil pressure sensor "sees" oil before any of the engine bearings, lifters, etc. All modern oil filters have anti-drainback valves. So the concern of "late lubrication" is a non-issue.

i agree and tested IT. i got oil pressure from the fitting above oil filter before oil pressure switch .both ways with my home made primer and with the oil pump .And pressure was HIGHER........... TESTED before my new install in may

i have my oil feed tapped into the oil pressure sensor mount with no issues basically same place so you won't have any pressure issues getting your feed there.

at oil pressure switch 50 to 62 at oil filter side mount 75 to80's higher number were with my home primer.
