Sierra 6.2L whipple cam options

looking for input on a camshaft for my L9H 6.2L whipple 2.3 build.

Sierra 6.2L Whipple build cam selection:

Texas Speed-TSP LS3/LSA Stage 2 227/235 114 LSA

Or

BTR 227/242 .614"/.592" 122+6

will that BTR cam fit, PTV clearance ?

I’m just going to fill out one of BTR’s cam spec sheets with my build parts and see what they come back with.

The BTR cam would be my preference of the 2 I think, however neither truly fit the bill in a truck. The BTR cam will be somewhat soggy out of boost with the LSA as wide as it is.

Call Cam Motion, get exactly what you want. They grind a lot of those other guys' cams so I feel like you get unbiased advice. They surely would prefer to sell you nothing vs. sell you something that isn't just right. This means if you SAY you don't want to lose low end or still want to tow, etc., you should be prepared that they might not suggest the donkey-dickest-idling cam out there. Be honest with your goals and you'll get the best cam for you. Steven or Kip will make your head explode with the amount of knowledge they can spit at you in 10 minutes.
