severe backfire when shifting (5 speed)
#1
Had a cam and charger put on and ever since ive had a horrible backfire when going from heavy load to no load shifting gears. It doesnt do it if i just let off the gas and let it decel. But if im accelerating fairly hard, as soon as i let off and press the clutch.. It backfires crazy loud, every time. Sometimes it will pop 2 or 3 times. Its not your typical gargle sound, Its straight up 12 guage goin off. Its soooooo annoying. Where can this be adjusted out in the tune? We worked on it a little right after full install, but not much. My tuner Said its very difficult to read in 2 bar density to figure out what it really needs or something. Any ideas? thanks

tuners seem very few and far between round these parts. So i went with someone who was recommended on here and some other sites. But you hear good and bad about every shop. Hard to trust anyone really. And its a 3 hour drive to his shop.

George it was @ 14 lbs on 93. He said he meant to program 16* but did 26* instead. It blew a gasket and spun 2 mains. No meth. He apparently was some tuner from Plano that the shop hadn't used much and I got burned. At that point I gave up on that truck. Sure wish I knew how to tune. I think that's the biggest downfall of modding late models.
