If we could see pictures of the damaged pistons, it would help us troubleshoot your failure. Broken/damaged parts usually tell you what went wrong.
I'll see if I can get a picture up here of this last failure today.

Post a pic of the top of the piston. Would also like to see close ups of the ring lands.

Can you take pictures of the cylinder? How certain are you the ring orientation was correct? If you are building boost and the rings are lined up it will create a lot of heat. In both pics I cant see either top ring gaps. I can only see one gap on the oil ring, where is the other? How much did you hone it? What I wonder is if honing caused a sharp lip on the bottom of the cylinder wall, and every time the piston skirt came out of the hole it shaved off some material. Is all of the scoring on the bottom of the cylinder? The top of the piston looks OK from your pics(meaning it doesn't appear to be a heat issue), it looks more like a machining issue.

The tops of the pistons were all perfect. The rings were all turned correctly with the top ring gapped to the inside and 2nd ring gapped to the outside. I had turned these rings to see if they were right in the grooves. The scoring was pretty consistent throughout the wall. I made sure when I was honing that I was doing the whole cylinder evenly. The truck is in the shop at my dad's so I might not be able to get any more pictures for a day or two.

I had a guy tell me that these pistons don't expand as much as other pistons and the skirts were too loose. Other people are saying that they were too tight and that's what caused this issue.

I did find out that I have a fuel problem. I decided to search if there was a fuel issue since a lot of you guys had been saying that. The injectors that I bought were sold to me as 52lb/hr injectors. I pulled the part number off of them and discovered that they are actually the 8.1 truck injectors meaning 31-32lb/hr injectors. I hate dishonest salesmen. I guess I know from now on the check stuff like that.

It seems as though you have multiple issues to resolve here.

Fuel system, injectors, piston-to-wall clearance(depends on piston material & application), ring gap(also depends on material & application), and the condition of your cylinder bores in the block. Maybe more that hasn't come to light yet.

Don't forget to clean the oil galleries in your block. They hold lots of metal.

Just to clarify, BB is a good tuner, but there are fundmental problems with tuning a turbo setup via mail. You miss a lot of details when you arent there in person to hear and feel the engine.

What do the plugs look like?
