How does the whipple compare to the TVS?

 

we have not done dyno test between the two but from what have experienced i really like the whipple.....

Whipple should really consider shipping their kits with 3.375" pulley since they claim 8-10psi for the kit. My truck only made a little more than 6 psi with the 3.625" pulley. The problem is that the supplied injectors and the stock flex fuel injectors are not big enough. I am hitting 95-100% DC. Overall though, it is a great kit (with the exception of their crappy supplied tune) and a nice alternative to the TVS kits seeing as it is about the same price as the TVS 1900 and much cheaper than the 2300.

 

AWESOME! Good to see some numbers of a 5.3 truck with that new Whipple set up! I like how much power it made on the stock heads......I looked for a price on the SD parts website for the 5.3 kit and didn't see one....are you guys holding off to do the cam and blower together with some headers? I just got back from a deployment, and saved the whole time for this new whipple.......looks like it was worth it! How much cash for the blower on an 07 classic with a 5.3? No polish.....just the goods...HA HA! Is there a round about price for what is in the package WITH the blower you mentioned.....cam, headers and pipe or something like that? I would LOVE to see what that truck would do at the track with some slicks and caltracs!
