Sc H2 wanting a little more
#1
Ok of course I am like everyone else.... I have a supercharged H2 that I thought would be fine, well now I want a little more. The only mods besides sc are shorties, cat back, electric fans, cia, and nelson tuning.
Now for the questions:
I am at 6# , what can I go to without being to much ( I do some light towing)
How much would 90mm help out?
High flow cats?
Torque coverter?
Or any other suggestions?
Thanks alot,
Tim

Running Moregrip's old 112. I don't need it to be a 12 second truck but wouldn't mind a little more than what I have. Kinda was figuring all the little things without having to redo the engine yet.
Thanks,
Tim

Prepare for transmission work now. You have a 4L65E and it won't like much more than the next pulley you'll install. The good news is a shift kit and the billet servo's will get you by down to a 2.9 pulley. Also ask your transmission builder about the vacuum modulator kit for your transmission. It's a life saver and allowed me to run down to 13.86 in my H2.
You don't have to sweat any other parts of the driveline unless you go with a lot more power than the Radix can make. Even a 2.75 pulley won't hurt anything other than the stock transmission.
I expect to retain my fully built 4L65E down to mid 13's... we'll see what happens.
You will need a good tuner as well. You might find you need injectors if you go below a 2.9 as well. I did.
