replacement blower recirculation valve for Roush 1900 kits

Does anyone know the original application for the supercharger's recirculation valve. Mine was broke in shipping and I'd like to buy a new one. Didn't know if this was a normal part for ford or GM??

I filed a claim with ups, then the seller sent me a new one. I tapped the old one and put a brass fitting on it for a spare.
