Default Rear-mounted turbo and 4/6 drop Q?

I just got a turbo a couple weeks ago, and i decided to mount it in the back I'm not really sure where to put it yet i might put it right after the Y pipe or far back like the STS set up. A guy at the gym is selling me his 4/6 drop kit for 400 bucks and i was wondering if it's safe when you have a rear mounted turbo if not i'm thinking about geting a 3/5 drop.

As far as the sts goes there are a few peeps that have a 4-6 drop and have no probs.I think the reason for it being mounted back so far is beause there is more room for the turbo to mount. Somone else will chime in in a few

With the STS, these no way you could knock off the turbo. It is higher then the frame rails and no parts of it hang lower then the frame. Chris99GMC had one with a 4/6 drop with 22's and never had a problem with it. There is enough room, if you do it right to mount it plenty high enough for you to be able to lay frame if you wanted to and not hit anything.

He has a pewter reg cab sierra. As long as it is mounted above the framerails there shouldn't be a problem. Just leave enough space around it so it doesn't touch the body either. You can buy a new 4/6 kit for $400(shocks not included). If it has shocks then the price isn't too bad.

Mine is 3-4 and no problems, (been on for a year) it is higher than the frame.
