"700" being what he would like to have tops. Reality will let him know, that 10K will not let him come close to that number.
Built motor, big turbo, built 80E trans, and a built rear end with a good locker, meth kit, gauges, ect......to say the least.

Ok....If going from 500rwhp to 700rwhp will require an engine rebuild, then lets keep with the 500 for now. If I blow up the engine, it's nice to know I can rebuild at that time to hold 700rwhp. What's the max hp that the cadillac 6.0L can take?

What price are we talking for the maximum hp with the stock engine? Price will dictate what I can get.

A stock 4l80 with a shift kit will hold the power you want. No need to spend a small fortune on a fully built 4l80e.

My goal is the 700rwhp eventually. I would like to use parts to end up to that goal. I know my hp will not be that from the start, but my purchases should lead that way to stop unneccessary buys. I don't want to have this tranny if it can't hold the 700rwhp.

You are going to need to an 80e trans to hold that power at the esky weight level.

It will hold. I've run 11.35 at 118. The gears and clutches in a 4l80e are massive compared to the 4l60e.

What vehicle do you have? The escalade is sorta heavy, and I'd rather buy once if I can help it.
