Exactly there are more whipples on engines putting out 800hp+ numbers then magnachagers. There are plenty of BBC boat motors running over 1000hp with whipple setups.

if you want to use that mentality there are even MORE 871 and larger modified Diesel ROOTS blowers making over 1000hp., that doesn't make them a batter blower for our trucks

Would these be some of the same eaton blowers that come on cobras who replace the eaton unit with a whipple in order to make more power?

The lobes are Eatons, but I believe the cases are all Maggy.

Dude, you win. Go run some killer track times and tell us how good the whipple is.

I will run some track times when they open in spring. I doubt my 6500lb+ Suv is going to run anywhere near what a pickup with the same mods is going to run but I am aiming for 13's with my setup as it is right. Once I build my engine this summer I will be aiming for 11's.

heres a truck we build with the tvs1900 blower sucks doesnt make any power at all (580 rwh) and is not efficient, air intake temps get all the way up to 180 degrees at full throttle, here are some vids

we were so unsatisfied with the tvs units that we now purchased a tvs2300 for the new motor for the truck a 408 stroker with prc stage 3 l92 heads

13's in your heavy truck will be impressive.
