I plan on getting a Hallman Pro Boost controller and was wondering if i would get boost spike with my current setup. I have a STS turbo so the wastegate is in the back. I have a line running from the Wastegate to Pre throttle body. Question is should i hook the Wastegate ref line back to the compressor housing and buy the 6ft Hallman cable for the HBC and get the Boost controller as far back as i can to the Wastegate. I wan't the boost controller adjustment inside the truck. I know this sound's confusing so bare with me.

 

Always reference pressure at the engine after all the restrictions; tubing, bends, intercooler, etc. that way the wastegate opens up at the desired value.
Run a long hose if have to.
