Radix PCV hookup?
How do I hook up the PCV system on my 2000 Radixed 6.0L? I do not have AIR nor a brake booster.
1. Drivers side
I read/researched this so I believe that it is correct. I have the PCV vavle on the drivers side going to my catch can and than to the back of the Radix. I have also caught some oil in my can so far which reassures my hookup.
2. Passenger Side
I have barb on the back of my TB, the barb on hte Passenger side valve cover and the brass barb on the intake tube.....
I think I have it connected wrong.
I blocked off the barb on the back of my TB and connected the the barb on the Passenger side valve cover to the brass barb on the intake tube.
Not alot of vaccuum is pulled into the brass barb before the TB so I suspect it is not sucking the crank case the way it is supposed to.
I suspect I should have the valvecover connected to the TB, like it was originally from the factory and block off the brass barb on the filter tube.
I think the brass barb on hte intake tube is for the AIR system which I dont have.
can someone confirm. Thanks

Blaster,
Your driver side hook up is correct, ds valve cover to catch can top, then catch can side to back of magnacharger.
As far as the passenger side goes, since I don't own a maggie I assume that the barb on the intake tube is on the plastic tube between the TB and the MAF. The hose coming from the passenger side valve cover is only there to supply fresh air to your motor. This aids the PCV system. I must note that the fresh air is metered by the MAF. Anyway, if my assumption is correct on the intake tube, either way you hook it up is correct. Reasons, because the barb on the back of the TB pulls air from infront of the TB blade and it provides no vacuum.
Let me know if you have any other questions, and do you want to get together today or tomorrow to log your motor? Where is petro city anyway?

Jeff,
Cool, so the barb on the back of the back of the TB pulls No vaccuum. Then I think I got it down.
I'm in Woodbridge actually. where the Parkway and Turnpike meet.

I was just in Woodbridge on Thursday night, having some fine beer at JJ Bittings. My parents live in Piscataway, and I'm usually there on the weekends working on my mustang (and right now) so meeting up with you isn't really that big of a hassle. Maybe tomorrow is you like.
Josh, I'll shoot you a PM about the price, it may take me a few weeks to get one made because I'll be on work travel all next week. Hopefully I'll make some next weekend. And I got to say that from the pictures that zq8.. posted, your garage is very nice. I may have to come over and check it out.
