Depending on how many miles the 6.0 block has... let alone... possibility of oil starvation (I ASSume) I would recommend getting the cylinders checked. You may need to eBay the Mahles if more than a cleanup hone is performed.

For bearings I recommend the Clevite H series for the rods and Federal Mogul for the mains. If you are having the block checked by a machinest let HIM tell you if the cam bearings are good/bad. As far as cam bearings go... don't let looks deceive you. Again though... if oil starvation is suspect it may be best to yank the cam bearings and start over... in that case Durabond makes a nice cam bearing.

I also recommend the rotating assembly be balanced... (since you are local) if you don't have a machinest I recommend Basko Engine Service.. ask for Ray.

... and most definitely pin the crank...

Chad at AZ Power and Sound will take care of your tuning needs assuming you stay local...

Magnacharger does a pinning kit that is standard on their Corvette kit.It's easy to install if you have a lift.Look at the Corvette instructions page on the Magnacharger web site.

i had the engine for a couple of months cylinder walls are fine and yes i have the the clevite's and the federals' too i was tinking basco engines too
