you need to verify that you cut the correct wires for the IAT sensor. make sure it was the tan and black wires at the end of the plug. More than likely you cut the ground to the MAF and wired it to the IAT, the IAT will work, and the MAF will not.

blownchevy, a buddy of mine did that part of the install, and he did verify it twice, but i myself have not. will do that and post back, thanks.

Let me know...I am willing to bet that is the problem! Make sure the wires are at the "end" of the plug.

BTW if you want a tip, get a dyno/street tune....you cant tune for boost through the mail.

just got home from work, ripped all the loom and electrical tape off, and heres what i found. there is NO black wire. only a black wire with white stripe. the other wires are tan, brown and yellow. i had the black w/ white stripe wire cut and going to the iat. since that wasn't working obviously, i changed it so that the brown wire and tan wire are going to the iat. didn't have time to drive it, but when i started it the cel stayed on still.

and you need to cut that TAN AND BLACK wire, those hook up to the IAT......put everything back together and start over!!

started the truck this morning to go to work, NO MORE CEL!!! wooohooo! it's the brown and tan wires!

Maybe the brown wire is what you are saying is the black wire? i don't know, but 3 different people looked at it and said it was brown, not black, so i know i'm not color blind lol. no big deal, its fixed now, just have to solder it when i get off work tonight. thanks for your help blownchevy and everyone else, this site is great!!!
