I really like this setup.. everything is up and out of the way and when the key is off, nobody ever sees them.

What you should do is have your HX where you can dunk it in a cooler between runs.. Turn the pump on and chill that dude...

I do have a little extra HX hose, but not on both hoses.

I wanna go back to that thread on keepin cool a Radix.
I'll buy a bigger HX or 2nd one, before buyin a phenolic spacer or Killer Chiller I think, but that's strictly a $ thing. Even if said bigger or 2nd HX doesn't lower E.T.'s as spacer or K.C.

Those that drop ice in IC tank, must be running straight water, otherwise they're diluting out their antifreeze.

Thanks Tim, Tom just tell everyone to ignore the fact that there is no blue paint in the pic. People will be in such amazement that there is a Radix on your truck that they won't notice the color. Haha

my buddys turbo truck went from a 12.7ish to a 12.2ish just by adding alot of ice to his IC box. IATs dropped almost 100* by the end of the pass compared to no ice/HX

TIM Z, it's all good.

I'll give u a present or 2 next time we met. Hint:

I don't need anyone else's pic, I said this weekend a pic or vid will be up.

I was gonna say, that's not blue.

Pat, u 2 are a couple of dickweeds.

Such amazement.

As I've said in the past, I wasn't gonna throw Radix on til I did trans for sure, & preferred to do timing chain, pushrods, springs & other supportin mods. I don't have luxury of my own garage, my hours are odd if not insane at times, & can turn at the drop of a hat. I was stressed enuff just doin it in my bro's garage, cause I ran into issues some or many have never even seen or hear of. Remember the fuel pump o-ring nightmare?

I lost time dealin w/. issues, those outside Rustbelt maybe never heard of. Heck, u live in an area w/. similiar cold weather, but I drive mine, so...

Also, I had to tear it all the way down to valley pan then put blower back on. A few snags fo sho, but it's up & runnin.

Your weather is similar, as we have high humidity too, but u tend to have warmer temps.
U gonna do a thread w/. pics I hope?

That's pretty sound gains.

I did just changeover yesterday to Trick 1/1/2 Gal., & while my brother added some antifreeze, I asked him if he cycled I/C pump by turning on key a few times, he said, "no".
So that needs some more likely.

When u change over from season - season, do u siphon it out or how do u not make a mess spillin antifreze. Cause, "a better mousetrap", as far as changin back & forth is needed. I hate spillin that slippery anti. no matter how careful but wanna be able to do faster too if I can. What's your tip there?!?

Or maybe just run 50/50 mix, the add a lil Water Wetter? I think RedLine still makes that, could give it a try.

I run a bottle of water wetter and mix of antifreeze / distiller water.

You can get WW advance auto or other parts store.
