what year are you? that doesn't sound good. mine spikes on the initial on, then settles to maybe 53-55. If you are pre-04 check your fpr.
Mine is an 06. Mine spikes when i turn the key on then slowly goes backs to zero. Keep in mind im not talking about once the truck has started. The key is just in the run possition.

Once the truck is started the pressure is always around 60

where is this o-ring your talking about? does it only apply to a stock pump or could this be my problem with the walbro 255lph pump? ('03 return system).

Yeah, I definately noticed it right after SD was done. One thing I have noticied, is that in the last few days I have not noticed it not starting as good. (Therefore it is starting properly, lol) So maybe it is not SD tuning related. Will wait and see in a few more cold starts.

Are you talking about your 99 Silverado? If so there is a fuel pressure regulator on your driver's side fuel rail with a vacuum line attached to the intake manifold. It has a diaphragm in it that can leak and cause a problem. It also has an o-ring in it that can be a problem, but mostly if it has been apart.

To check the regulator run your engine and then turn the key off. Pull the vacuum line from the regulator and check for fuel. If the line is wet the diaphragm is split and the regulator will need to be replaced. The truck will not run or start properly if the regulator is not functioning properly.

If the o-ring is gone the regulator will not hold a static fuel pressure with the key on engine off.
