DRX,
Radix shipped me a fuel pump kit for warrenty, it had the pump, filter, electrical conectors and 1 or 2 hoses I don't think I got a FPR. Should I call Magnacharger up and as for one? I would hate to drop my tank and put the new pump and filter in and it still not work and possible be the FPR. I am asking for some opinions on what I should do.
Thanks
Mark

Do you mean filter or the filter sock that attaches to some pumps? Make sure you have the right pump/filter for a 2004 vehicle rather than the external booster pump and filter used on earlier vehicles with return style fuel systems. The regulator is not available separately and I don't think the spring would be weak yet given your mileage..

Here are some pics of my module although yours may differ somewhat:

DRX,
Thank you for the info, Looks to me like what Magnacharger sent me was the smaller cylinder on the left in your first picture

The pump should say GSS341 on it. Not sure what kind of filter you are referring to?? My filter is the larger grey cylinder. It can be removed but cannot be purchased separately as far as I know. I have replaced mine with an open HDPE plastic cylinder to increase the reserve capacity of the bucket. My new setup will have an external filter.

OK, a dumb question from a 2003 owner. How do you change your fuel filter if it's stuffed way up there? Or is it a "lifetime" filter. We have to change ours about every 30,000 miles.

That's what GM calls it. It's just a pleated paper filter inside a high pressure plastic housing. It is larger than the external GM filters though. I guess "lifetime" is when it starts to cause problems. Then you replace the entire module.
